One of Canada's Oldest Property & Casualty Insurers Modernizes Claim Processing with Guidewire ClaimCenter
The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company ("The Dominion"), property and casualty insurer of cars, homes, and businesses across Canada; and Guidewire Software®, a leading provider of solutions to property and casualty and workers' compensation insurers, today announced that The Dominion has selected Guidewire ClaimCenter® as its next-generation claims processing system.
Recognizing the limitations of its existing legacy claims technology, The Dominion proactively embarked on an extensive search for a replacement system. Guidewire ClaimCenter was selected to support the end-to-end claims handling process for all lines of business. Legacy system replacement will be completed in a phased approach over the next several years.

- Preserve system enhancements while deploying new product versions, allowing The Dominion to take advantage of new functionality that Guidewire continues to add while maintaining their own system changes.
