Available File Types for Office Applications
EMF (Enhanced Meta File): Best for using in Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents. May appear slightly jagged on-screen, but reproduces crisply when document is converted to PDF format. Powerpoint anti-aliases EMF files when in slideshow mode. EMF files retain transparency and can therefore be placed over a colored background or bitmap. To reduce physical dimensions of EMF logo in Office Applications, hold 'Shift' while resizing a corner handle to constrain proportions.
GIF (Graphic Interchange Format): Best for using in Word and Excel, where the file is primarily distributed for on-screen usage. Also, best for all web usage. The GIF file format typically does not reproduce cleanly when converted to PDF format and should be avoided when document is ultimately intended for PDF distribution. Avoid up or down scaling.
Available File Types for Print and Creative Manipulation
EPS (Encapsulated Post Script): The Guidewire logo in EPS format is available in two color models: CMYK and Pantone. Please use CMYK when using in printed materials being produced using process color. Use Pantone when being printed with spot colors.
PSD (Photoshop native file format): Best for accessing the Guidewire logo with the intention of creating gifs or other web file formats, ie., to change the background color, or when adding the Guidewire logo to a file containing other colors and/or bitmap images, where the logo will overlap other elements, bitmaps or colors. If the graphic is intended for print, please use an EPS version of the Guidewire logo. Please note, the PSD versions of the Guidewire logo use the RGB color model and are intended for screen usage only.
