Guidewire Software to Host Insurance Forum

Guidewire's ongoing Insurance Forum series continues with "Bridging the Gap: Bringing Claims and Underwriting Together" to be held on June 21st in Philadelphia

SAN MATEO, CA, May 10, 2005 - Guidewire Software®, a leading provider of solutions to property and casualty and workers' compensation insurers, today announced that the next in the series of Guidewire Insurance Forums will be held on June 21, 2005 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This invitation-only event is co-sponsored by Capgemini, one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services. The forum will showcase prominent industry leaders gathered to discuss "Bridging the Gap: Bringing Claims and Underwriting Together".

The forum will bring together P&C claims and underwriting professionals along with respected industry speakers that will discuss the issues facing the worlds of claims and underwriting. Too often these two groups are siloed within their own organizations, yet they face many similar challenges: limited control over core processes; inflexible legacy systems; and the inability to support external parties or agents.
