Guidewire Recognized as Best IT Vendor in Three Categories in U.S. Insurer Magazine's 2006 Poll
Named Best IT Vendor in Claims Processing and Management, Underwriting Systems, Policy Administration, and Highly Commended in the Billing Category
SAN MATEO, CA, November 28, 2006 - Guidewire Software®, a leading provider of solutions to property and casualty and workers' compensation insurers, today announced that it has been recognized in four categories in the U.S. Insurer magazine's 2006 IT Vendor poll. This poll surveys technology officers in insurance and reinsurance firms in the U.S., asking that they identify their favorite IT Vendors in five categories. Guidewire was named Best IT Vendor in the Claims Processing & Management, Underwriting Systems, and Policy Administration categories, and received a Highly Commended rating in the Billing category.
This is the second consecutive year that Guidewire has been named Best IT Vendor in the Claims Management and Processing category.
According to the Winter 2006 issue of U.S. Insurer, "The star performer was Guidewire, which scooped three of the five categories." The publication also noted, "It is easy to see Guidewire's appeal to insurers. The firm only services the property/casualty industry, and counts big firms such as CNA and Suncorp among its clients."
