Guidewire Software Opens Munich Office to Better Serve Central European General Insurance Market

Leading provider of claims, underwriting and policy administration, and billing systems expands presence in continental Europe

SAN MATEO, CA, June 19, 2007 - Guidewire Software®, a leading provider of technology solutions to general insurance companies, today announced that it has expanded its international operations with the creation of a subsidiary company, Guidewire Software, GmbH, and the opening of a new office in Munich. Guidewire's European presence includes offices in London and Paris. This new office will serve the needs of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Guidewire provides modern technology solutions to help general insurance companies better manage their claims handling, underwriting and policy administration, and billing processes. The company's solutions are widely adopted by more than 40 insurance companies of all sizes and across all lines of business throughout the United States (U.S.), and in Canada, the United Kingdom (U.K.), and Russia.
