Guidewire Named Top Solution Provider in 2008 Vanguards in Insurance Practices Ranking
Market survey conducted by Insurance Networking News and Celent names Guidewire top Point Solutions Provider to P&C Industry
SAN MATEO, California, May 28, 2008 – Guidewire Software®, a leading global provider of solutions to property and casualty insurers, today announced that it has received several awards in the 2008 Vanguards in Insurance Practices (VIP) insurance industry technology solution provider ranking. Ranking results were based exclusively on votes received from insurance carriers and agents as announced by Insurance Networking News (INN) and Celent. Guidewire’s VIP awards include: First Place: Point Solutions and Second Place: Integrated Systems.
Additionally in Phase II of the VIP Awards program, the top-ranked solution providers were given an opportunity to nominate an insurance carrier customer they considered “visionary” for its use of specific technology. Guidewire is honored to be chosen as a Second Place: Technology Best Practice in Action winner with its customer, Canal Insurance, a leading trucking insurance provider.
The VIP survey was conducted by Insurance Networking News magazine and analyst firm, Celent. This market survey was exclusively driven by insurance companies in the United States and Canada who ranked their experiences with insurance technology providers across five categories. Phase II awards were decided by INN readers, its editorial advisory board, and Celent’s top insurance research analysts.
