Pioneer State Mutual Insurance Selects Guidewire BillingCenter

Pioneer State Mutual Insurance Company (Pioneer State Mutual), a multi-line property/casualty carrier serving individuals and businesses in the state of Michigan, and Guidewire Software®, a leading global provider of solutions to property/casualty insurers, today announced that Pioneer State Mutual has selected Guidewire BillingCenter® as its new billing system. BillingCenter will be deployed for both direct and agency bill functionality and will replace Pioneer State Mutual’s existing billing capabilities currently provided by the company’s policy administration system.

Pioneer State Mutual, established in 1908 as a fire-loss protection company, now writes a wide array of property/casualty insurance in Michigan. Requiring billing and payment flexibility to keep pace with and expand its business, Pioneer State Mutual sought a single system to handle all its diverse lines of business. The company selected Guidewire BillingCenter for the system’s comprehensive functionality, configurability and ease of integration. And, Pioneer State Mutual was impressed with BillingCenter’s account level billing capabilities and the system’s integrated workflows.
