Kentucky Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company (KFB), the largest insurer in the state of Kentucky is in production with Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter. Kentucky Farm Bureau, now a Guidewire InsuranceSuite customer, has also recently selected Guidewire BillingCenter to help the company handle its billing operations and will be deployed for its Personal Auto line of business first followed by all other lines of business in a phased implementation approach.

Guidewire PolicyCenter is enabling more than 400 agents and their staffs in KFB’s local agencies to collaborate more effectively with their state office underwriting team, and is allowing them to concentrate on delivering the best service possible to member policyholders. KFB is already realizing significant benefits from using PolicyCenter, including: faster quoting and applications, more efficient underwriting, and improved competitiveness.

KFB has also deployed Guidewire ClaimCenter to improve its levels of customer service to insureds, claimants, and agents; automate its claims processes; and reduce cycle time for claims processing. The KFB user community has embraced ClaimCenter’s modern technology and intuitive design which enables them to perform their work throughout the entire claims process more efficiently and consistently.

Our successful deployment of PolicyCenter provides the foundation for our future as we move all policy processing to a single, flexible system. Improving our systems and processes was essential to enhancing the way we do business with our customers. We are very pleased with the benefits we are already realizing and are looking forward to more of the same as we continue to roll out PolicyCenter.
