Universal Insurance Company, a Commercial and Personal lines carrier with operations in Puerto Rico and the United States, has selected Guidewire InsuranceSuite™ to support transforming its core operations including underwriting, policy administration, rating, billing, and claims management. The company has also selected Guidewire Reinsurance Management™ to manage its ceded reinsurance processes and Guidewire Client Data Management™ to support a more comprehensive customer view across its core operations. Universal began Phase I of its transformation project by deploying all three Guidewire core systems simultaneously for its Commercial and Personal Auto lines of business. Universal has teamed with PwC US (a Guidewire PartnerConnect™alliance member) and Guidewire for the implementation.
