SSQauto Deploys Guidewire Solution for Underwriting and Policy Management

SSQauto, a Quebec direct insurer to group members as well as to the general public, and Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE: GWRE), a provider of software products to Property/Casualty (P/C) insurers, today announced that SSQauto, a subsidiary of SSQ Financial Group, has successfully implemented Guidewire PolicyCenter® as its new underwriting and policy management solution. SSQauto also implemented Rating Management and Client Data Management.

SSQauto, a $220 million direct written premium company, selected PolicyCenter to replace its previous policy administration system with one that could help the company minimize risk and grow with its business. The insurer successfully deployed PolicyCenter to its automotive line of business in 2013, followed by the homeowners line of business in January 2015.
