QBE Insurance Australia Deploys Guidewire Platform to Achieve Business Success

QBE Insurance Australia, a division of global insurer QBE Insurance Group, and Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE: GWRE), a provider of software products to P/C insurers, today announced the Australian insurer has successfully deployed Guidewire core processing, data and analytics, and digital engagement products to adapt its business for success in today’s rapidly-changing insurance marketplace. Guidewire PartnerConnectTMPremier member, Ernst & Young in Australia, facilitated the implementation.

QBE Australia deployed Guidewire InsuranceSuiteTM, Rating Management, and Client Data Management as its new platform for underwriting, rating, policy administration, claims, billing, and client data management. Guidewire DataHubTM and InfoCenter are now supporting their direct insurance data management and business intelligence needs. Additionally, the company leveraged Guidewire Quote and Buy Portal for PolicyholdersTM to offer self-service quoting capability to consumers.
