Connections, Guidewire’s customer conference is just around the corner! Our team is working hard to complete preparations and is looking forward to meeting our customers and partners face-to-face in Las Vegas on October 23.

Our team is working hard to complete preparations and is looking forward to meeting our customers and partners face-to-face in Las Vegas on October 23. This year we’re honored to welcome leaders from our customer community to the Connections mainstage to share their transformation stories:

- Mary Beth Eckert, SVP for Corporate and Insurance Technology and CIO, USAA will share how USAA was led by evolving member needs, industry dynamics, and technological advancement to launch the largest transformation in the company’s history.
- Lars Bonde, Group COO, Tryg will tell the story of how Tryg became the largest insurer in Scandinavia in 2021 and their ambitious plan to use technology to exceed customer satisfaction goals.
- Simone Labady, CEO, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company New Zealand will share successes and learnings from Aioi NZ’s hugely successful transformation project, powered by Guidewire Cloud.
- Brandi Riggins, Global Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at Guidewire will lead a discussion with executives from the Guidewire customer community exploring the impact of gender diversity in P&C technology. Joining Brandi will be:
- Carol-Ann Gough, Executive GM, Insurance Platforms Australia and New Zealand, IAG
- Tatjana Lalkovic, SVP and CIO, Technology Solutions, Definity

I am so thankful to this roster of talented speakers for the time they are investing in preparing to share their stories! In addition, the Connections agenda features more than 30 customer-hosted breakouts, organized into [tracks](https://connections.guidewire.com/xGmavr) focused on Guidewire solutions, transformation journeys, and industry thought leadership. There’s something for everyone – no matter what journey may lie ahead for you and your teams.

We are excited to host these amazing presentations, and we also you are looking forward to engaging with all our customers! Subject matter experts from Guidewire and our partners will be on hand throughout the conference and we’ve dedicated Wednesday, October 26, the final day of Connections, to Customer Advisories (Cas) and Customer Influence Councils (CICs) sessions. This provides our customers the opportunity to meet with peers, provide valuable feedback, and get questions answered by Guidewire subject matter experts.
