Admiral Deploys Guidewire Products for Underwriting, Policy Administration and Billing

Admiral Group plc, one of the largest car insurance providers in the UK and Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE: GWRE), a provider of software products to general insurers, today announced the successful initial implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter® and Guidewire BillingCenter® as Admiral’s new underwriting, policy administration and billing systems for its motor and household lines of business.

Admiral selected Guidewire software as a platform for the future, allowing it to continually innovate and develop insurance products across all brands and across all distribution channels. PolicyCenter and BillingCenter have been deployed to its Elephant and Diamond brands already, with deployment to the Admiral brand due later this summer. The company is continuing this roll-out and, when fully deployed to all operational units later in 2016, PolicyCenter and BillingCenter will used by 5,000 staff, in six cities on three continents.

• Apply a high level of autonomy in the operation and development of their platform; and

• Train staff and end users faster, more easily and intuitively.
