For most categories, PartnerConnect includes three relationship tiers: Select, Advantage, and Premier/Global Premier. The tiers are designed to recognize partners based on achievements and contributions such as insurance industry expertise, the number of Guidewire certified employees, the number of integration accelerators, and (as of 2019) the achievement of specializations for Consulting partners.

Guidewire PartnerConnect™ Consulting partners provide consulting services such as business transformation and strategy, implementation, and related solution and delivery services. To date, Guidewire Consulting practices worldwide include approximately 8,000 consultants who have been trained on, or are experienced with, Guidewire products.

The PartnerConnect Consulting program offers three tiers (Select, Advantage, and Global Premier) that reward and recognize partners for attaining sales goals, participating in active implementations, developing go-to-market skills by region, and achieving specializations.

Specializations are regionally based and require partners to demonstrate skills, knowledge, and competency in a particular Guidewire product or solution area. The achievement of specializations enables customers and Guidewire to have more clarity and insight into which partners have proven capabilities in a region. In addition, partners with specializations can better promote their capabilities across Guidewire products and solutions.
