Guidewire DEVSummit 2026 is scheduled for May 13-16 in Bengaluru, India. We are hosting more than 3,000 InsuranceSuite developers, full-stack engineers, and technical architects for four days of intensive engineering.

Shifting from configuration to composition

The theme "Building Beyond" marks a fundamental pivot in our technical roadmap. This year, DEVSummit will prioritize hands-on experience for real-world implementation-based learning.

We are focusing on the mechanics of how you write code, the patterns required to architect extensions for long-term compatibility, and the deployment of agentic AI within the Guidewire Cloud platform.

“This year is about turning Building Beyond from a theme into code you can take back to production.” - Mohammed Anzy S, Guidewire Vice President, Engineering and Managing Director

Framework for technical growth

To maximize your time in Bengaluru, DEVSummit follows a structured engineering framework:

  1. Learning: Engineering-led tracks building expertise in the latest InsuranceSuite capabilities
  2. Innovation: Translating abstract architectural concepts into production-ready code
  3. Community: Exchanging proven implementation patterns with 3,000 global peers

Customized 3-block learning journey

The learning journey will follow a stream-based progression in which participants commit to one single, curated path composed of three modular building blocks. Each block builds on the previous one, prioritizing depth over breadth for a sequential and cumulative experience.

Each block represents a distinct capability and will include a:

  1. Conceptual deep dive – Focused on principles, patterns, and context
  2. Hands-on application – Focused on implementation and practice

This ensures a tight loop of learn → apply → internalize.

The capstone “wrapper”

The learning culminates for every stream in a capstone “wrapper” experience where participants:

  • Integrate multiple building blocks
  • Apply concepts in a unified scenario
  • Build an end-to-end solution

This shifts the focus from understanding to creation.

Validating production-ready proficiency

The Capstone project is the core of this experience. By completing the Deep Dive, Hands-on, and Capstone sequence, you demonstrate the ability to ship production-quality code using the latest Guidewire tools. Participants who successfully finish their Capstone project will receive an official Certificate of Completion.

This certification validates your proficiency in critical technical domains, such as the new InsuranceSuite Extension Layer or the Guidewire AI Framework. You leave the summit with a verified record of your skills and a working prototype of your solution.

Secure your technical roadmap

The event agenda includes detailed tracks for InsuranceSuite developers and full-stack engineers. For the first time, we have also introduced dedicated streams for QA engineers and Business Analysts to ensure full-team alignment on the Guidewire Cloud journey.
