From Proof of Skill to Peak Performance

Staying current on Guidewire is vital, especially in a cloud environment. Guidewire certifications ensure you grasp the platform, follow best practices, and can execute real-world implementations. The evolving Guidewire Education program helps developers and other team members validate skills, streamline workflows, and secure their careers.

What is a Guidewire certification?

A Guidewire certification is an official recognition from Guidewire Education that an individual is well prepared to support a cloud implementation. Each certification is tied to a specific role, product track, and release.

Certification is required for all professionals working on Guidewire Cloud implementations including but not limited to developers.

There are two primary levels of certification:

Certifications are available at two progressive levels so you can demonstrate increasing depth of expertise over time. They are issued by Guidewire and recognized across the global network of carriers, system integrators, and partners who build and run on Guidewire.

  • You have proven that you can apply Guidewire fundamentals and best practices to implement and support products in Guidewire Cloud effectively with guidance from a certified Ace.
  • For experts who have proven they can design, lead, and apply best practices to Guidewire solutions. This is the highest level of certification and is required for Cloud leads.

Why Certification Matters

Guidewire certification helps you stand out in high-demand areas by providing concrete, verifiable skills in integrations and/or specialized product capabilities. It acts as a portable, stackable career asset that positions you for lead roles and makes it easier to be staffed on Guidewire projects.

Certified team members with updated certifications make stronger design decisions, catch problems before they materialize, and protect the long-term health of the system.

  • 130%

For individuals, certification builds credibility that's visible and transferable. It positions you for more complex work, more influential roles, and greater ownership of how implementations get built.

That includes:

  • Developers and configuration specialists
  • Integration and migration engineers
  • Digital teams working with Jutro
  • Technical architects responsible for platform decisions
