AXA XL in the Americas has implemented Guidewire PolicyCenter on Guidewire Cloud Platform for its Middle Market unit that will reduce manual processes and make it easier for brokers to do business with the insurer.
Working with insurance software provider Guidewire, PolicyCenter will allow AXA XL to rate, quote, bind and issue policies in all 50 states.
“As we continue to build out our Middle Market offering, we’re investing in technology that will make AXA XL a preferred insurance provider,” said Bennett Turner, Chief Growth Officer, Americas, for AXA XL. “PolicyCenter will make it easier for brokers to bind coverage with customers and secure the insurance protection they need to succeed.”
Mr. Turner added that PolicyCenter is part of AXA XL’s larger investment in serving Middle Market clients, which will include introducing new products and expanding into new regions of the United States and Canada in 2025.
PolicyCenter was chosen to support rating, forms management, and pre- and post-bind transactions for all five Middle Market lines of business: workers compensation, auto, general liability, umbrella and property. The new system has the potential to reduce process time from more than one week to a matter of days.
