L’olivier – assurance auto Deploys Integrated Guidewire Platform Across Business

Modern core systems deployed quickly to bring business value and underpin growth of specialist motor insurer

PARIS, France and LONDON, UK, February 8, 2016

L’olivier – assurance auto, a motor insurance provider and French subsidiary of Admiral Group, and Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE: GWRE), a provider of software products to general insurers, today announced that L’olivier – assurance auto has successfully implemented Guidewire InsuranceSuite™ as its platform for underwriting, policy administration, claims management, billing and client data management. InsuranceSuite supports the full policy lifecycle for the insurer.

L’olivier – assurance auto is impressed that their powerful new platform was deployed through the use of out-of-the-box InsuranceSuite functionality, in just 11 months. They are convinced that this proven technology platform can support its business needs now and into the future. With modern and configurable core systems, the insurer is better prepared to push forward with its innovative business ambitions and increase its share of the French motor market.

"We are gratified that we have been able to work with a suite of well-built insurance applications," explained Pascal Gonzalvez, CEO of L’olivier – assurance auto. "This, combined with consistency across the platform, has enabled us to initiate new projects right away."

InsuranceSuite is enabling L’olivier – assurance auto to:

  • Offer customers the flexible and tailored solutions that they want;
  • Develop and bring to market original new products easily and quickly; and
  • Manage and customise their integrated platform with a high level of self-sufficiency.

"Our business values the importance of self-reliance," remarked Pascal Gonzalvez. "This is why, from early on in the implementation, we consciously adopted a strategy to make our team self-sufficient. As a consequence, we now have better control of this element of our overall ownership costs."

"We applaud L’olivier – assurance auto in the successful business-value driven deployment of InsuranceSuite," said Mike Polelle, chief customer officer, Guidewire Software. "We admire the focus they place on providing responsive and inventive motor insurance products and look forward to continuing to work with them as they grow their business further."

Guidewire InsuranceSuite™ powers the mission-critical operations of general insurers competing in today’s market. The suite was designed using a modular approach, enabling insurers to select individual applications -- Guidewire PolicyCenter®, Guidewire BillingCenter®, and Guidewire ClaimCenter® -- or a pre-integrated set, driven by their requirements and priorities. InsuranceSuite provides the flexibility insurers need to deliver insurance the way they want to, by rapidly delivering better products and service to their policyholders and agents, while improving underwriting discipline and lowering operational costs.
