ABI Document Support Services

ABI Document Support Services is a nationwide provider of records retrieval, subpoena preparation, document management, and technology services for the legal and insurance industries. Offering the largest network of field support professionals, ABI annually produces more than 1.1 million record requests. From an intuitive user experience to powerful tracking, analysis, and reporting capabilities, ABI’s sole focus on records retrieval ensures that users achieve greater productivity and gain more time for the important tasks of evaluating claims and quickly generating more successful outcomes.

In P&C insurance, the key challenge facing claims professionals is the need for secure and time-saving record retrieval processes. ABI is proud to partner with Guidewire to offer our innovative record retrieval and document management solutions through ABI ProConnect. When integrated with Guidewire ClaimCenter, ABI ProConnect enables users to seamlessly order records, view the confirmations, check order status, communicate, and then receive the organized records directly from ABI without leaving ClaimCenter. From a single location, adjusters gain greater order accuracy at the front end—ultimately saving time and producing more complete documents for receipt and analysis. In addition, insurer partners see cost savings due to improved program compliance, more effective communication, and critical time savings for claims resolution. To learn more, visit abidss.com.

ACD

With award-winning auto claims technology and services, ACD delivers the leading virtual claims workflow platform to automobile and commercial insurers, TPAs, fleet administrators, and self-insureds. ClaimFox

ClaimFox

At no cost to insurers, ClaimFox fulfills requests for copies of claim files so that you don’t have to—freeing you from inefficient processes and labor-intensive tasks. Insurers receive requests every day for copies of their claim files. These can be simple request letters, medical authorizations, and subpoenas from claimant attorneys, defense attorneys, adverse carriers, third-party record retrieval companies, workers’ compensation boards, and other sources. Fulfilling these requests is something you don’t always have the time to complete. ClaimFox manages this entire function on your behalf. Is it secure? Yes! In fact, we pride ourselves on our commitment to our clients’ data security and privacy. We are ISO 27001-compliant to ensure that you are fully protected with legal, physical, and technical controls to manage your processes for information risk management.

The ClaimFox integration with Guidewire ClaimCenter enables insurers to send requests for copies of claim files to ClaimFox and guarantees that those requests are fulfilled the right way—the same way—every time. ClaimFox acts as the insurer’s extension to respond to requests, choose what documents are authorized to meet the needs of the request, release data in full compliance, and provide customer service to the requesters throughout the life cycle of the request. For each request, ClaimFox tracks its entire life cycle, provides a full accounting of disclosures, and pushes status updates to ClaimCenter. By integrating with ClaimFox, Guidewire customers can preserve their most valuable resource—time—and ensure full compliance on all requests for copies of claim files.

CLARA analytics

CLARA analytics improves claims outcomes in commercial insurance with easy-to-use AI. The company’s product suite applies image recognition, natural language processing, and other AI-based techniques to unlock insights from medical notes, bills, and other documents surrounding a claim—and then generate predictions to help adjusters take action, including identifying optimal care providers, minimizing litigation risk, selecting optimal attorneys, and settling claims smartly. CLARA’s predictive insights give adjusters “AI superpowers” that reduce claims costs and optimize outcomes for the insurer, customer, and claimant.

ClearPay

ClearPay automates the payable and reconciliation process between insurance agencies and insurers. For insurers, all payment notifications and reporting are standardized and automated for agency bill settlements—for multiple policy payments as well as single direct-bill policy payments. This means that there are no more incoming checks, disparate reporting, or unknown deposit origins. ClearPay operates in the United States and Canada and can be visited at www.clearpaycanada.com/our-solution/guidewire for more information.

As a Guidewire PartnerConnect Solution partner, ClearPay facilities the direct posting of payments and associated policy information to BillingCenter. OneSpan

OneSpan

OneSpan enables financial institutions and other organizations to succeed by making bold advances in their digital transformations. We do this by establishing trust in people’s identities, the devices they use, and the transactions that shape their lives. We believe that this is the foundation of enhanced business enablement and growth. More than 10,000 customers, including over half of the top 100 global banks, rely on OneSpan solutions to protect their most important relationships and business processes. From digital on-boarding to fraud mitigation to workflow management, OneSpan’s unified, open platform reduces costs, accelerates customer acquisition, and increases customer satisfaction.

The “OneSpan Sign for Guidewire” accelerator offers e-signatures with Guidewire ClaimCenter and Guidewire PolicyCenter to help make the complex business of P&C insurance simpler and smarter—increasing efficiency, improving underwriting, and sharpening insurers’ competitive edge. Automated workflow rules ensure that the process is 100% digital and accurate, reducing NIGO errors and increasing productivity. Document packages are sent by agents for e-signing directly from ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter and then automatically returned to the Guidewire applications for electronic storage for completely digital, straight-through processing without any manual processing. In addition, OneSpan offers insurers the most comprehensive and secure transactions and electronic evidence in the industry. www.OneSpan.com

Ontellus

Ontellus is a full-service procurer of medical records, wage and employment records, diagnostic imaging files, pharma data, social security records, billing records, and other claims-related data services. As one of the largest records retrieval and claims data services providers in the United States, Ontellus supports all states for all lines of business, including bodily injury, medical malpractice, worker’s compensation, and construction defects. With a significant capability in the California workers’ compensation specialization, Ontellus handles both authorization and subpoena-based retrievals. It provides analytics for claims to help review case records in a logical timeline that dynamically adapts as more records are retrieved. Adjusters can share important, sensitive HIPAA data digitally in the cloud with their legal counsel to support litigated claims.

Insurance claims adjusters and regional CLCs using Guidewire ClaimCenter™ order their claims records from outside the application (typically in an external portal). This often involves logging in and rekeying the claims case data stored in ClaimCenter. Moreover, the external portals are used to check the status of retrieved records and to view those records. The result is that costly workflow processes can jump around. The AddOntellus Add-on for Records Retrieval is integrated directly with ClaimCenter to provide tremendous value for claims departments by creating a streamlined process that provides time savings, single sign-on functionality, and a reduction in errors. www.ontellus.com
