Guidewire PartnerConnect™ is a network of select partner companies that provide consulting services and solutions to enhance, extend, and complement the capabilities of Guidewire products. Our worldwide partner community helps contribute to the success of our mutual customers in the property and casualty insurance industry by delivering Guidewire software implementations, value-add solution and technology offerings, and guidance on insurance industry best practices.

For most categories, PartnerConnect includes three relationship tiers: Select, Advantage, and Premier/Global Premier. The tiers are designed to recognize partners based on achievements and contributions such as insurance industry expertise, the number of Guidewire certified employees, the number of integration accelerators, and (as of 2019) the achievement of specializations for Consulting partners.

PartnerConnect | Consulting

Guidewire PartnerConnect™ Consulting partners provide consulting services such as business transformation and strategy, implementation, and related solution and delivery services. To date, Guidewire Consulting practices worldwide include approximately 10,000 consultants who have been trained on, or are experienced with, Guidewire products.

The PartnerConnect Consulting program offers three tiers (Select, Advantage, and Global Premier) that reward and recognize partners for attaining sales goals, participating in active implementations, developing go-to-market skills by region, and achieving specializations.

Specializations are regionally based and require partners to demonstrate skills, knowledge, and competency in a particular Guidewire product or solution area. The achievement of specializations enables customers and Guidewire to have more clarity and insight into which partners have proven capabilities in a region. In addition, partners with specializations can better promote their capabilities across Guidewire products and solutions. Guidewire recently announced the Global Delivery specialization, which recognizes partners that have a large investment in their Guidewire practice, meet the global skills metric, and continue to meet the minimum number of references in a specific region.

The following specializations demonstrate specific product capabilities and expertise:

  • Guidewire InsuranceSuite specialization partners can implement the essential core systems that support the P&C insurance life cycle, including underwriting, policy, billing, and claims management. This is a central source for all critical customer and financial data, rate and product definitions, workflows, and business rules across all lines of business.
  • Guidewire PolicyCenter specialization partners can implement an underwriting, policy, and product management system that supports underwriters as they serve agents and policyholders.
  • Guidewire ClaimCenter specialization partners can implement an end-to-end claims management solution, including loss-report intake, adjudication processes, and operational reporting.
  • Guidewire BillingCenter specialization partners can implement a user-friendly billing and cash management system designed to drive efficiencies and deliver excellent across the entire P&C organization.
  • Guidewire InsuranceSuite Integration specialization partners can integrate a Guidewire product with external applications by using fundamental technologies such as plugins, messaging, and web services.

  • Premier Go-to-Market – North America specialization and Premier Go-to-Market – EMEA specialization partners can support the expansion of Guidewire software technology into new relationships with insurers in a specific region. These partners also continue to drive adoption of Guidewire technology through successful project implementations, and they make the necessary investment in Guidewire training and certification to provide quality consulting services.
    Note: The Premier Go-to-Market – North America specialization replaces the Regional Premier Americas specialization that was launched in 2018.
  • Digital UX complementary specialization partners have demonstrated interoperability or integration with Guidewire products in the area of User Experience (UX). Partners must apply for this specialization.
  • Premier Services Engagement specialization partners have developed a broad range of capabilities that enhance Guidewire delivery services. They have also demonstrated their ability to use a proven, flexible engagement model for effectively partnering with Guidewire customers and cooperating at a strategic scale with Guidewire Professional Services in Guidewire-led service engagements with the required competencies.
