SafeAuto Insurance Selects Guidewire for Underwriting, Policy Administration, Billing and Claims Management

SafeAuto Insurance Company (SafeAuto), a U.S. property/casualty (P/C) insurer that provides direct-to-consumer auto insurance, and Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE: GWRE), a provider of core system software to P/C insurers, today announced that SafeAuto has selected Guidewire InsuranceSuite™ to support the transformation of its core operations including underwriting, policy administration, rating, billing and claims management.

In an effort to get new products to market faster, provide quicker and more efficient customer service, and focus its IT efforts on implementing new capabilities, SafeAuto decided it needed to replace its legacy core underwriting, policy administration, billing and claims management systems. After going through a thoughtful and deliberate selection process, which required buy-in from both the business and technical teams, SafeAuto selected Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
