Guidewire’s latest cloud release takes us to Kufri in Northern India. This picturesque hill station is located in the Himalayas, the mountain range with some of the world’s highest peaks. Trails wind through the park, leading hikers to the towering Mahasu Peak, the highest point in Kufri, which offers panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges.

Kufri, the Guidewire release, also allows clients to see further than ever. HazardHub is expanding internationally, bringing our clients access to comprehensive property risk data in 19 countries. Insurers underwriting in markets across Europe, Africa, and Asia get quick access to commercial and personal property risk. Seconds after keying in an address, underwriters receive data on flood, hail, wildfire, and wind risk based on 65 data elements per property. HazardHub’s seamless pre-integration with PolicyCenter means that the data is delivered to underwriters directly in their core workflows, without needing to log in to a separate system to get the information. Once they receive a submission, they can just click on the Risk Analysis tab within PolicyCenter to see the data, bringing the insights to the point of decision.

But there is much more to Kufri. The release is packed with features and enhancements that enrich all parts of the insurance lifecycle.
  • Streamlined submission intake with enhancements to Schedule Import. Intake coordinators and agents can now use a Smart Import Wizard to easily upload building and location data, which automatically maps the information to the appropriate fields in PolicyCenter.
  • More flexibility and customization in commercial lines. The new manual premium override capability for large commercial premiums enables underwriters to easily customize pricing to align it with their risk strategy.
  • Smoother integrations with more APIs. These speed up tasks such as copying of secondary address fields, reentrant quoting, and support product launches using Advanced Product Designer (APD).
  • Optimized non-bureau processes. Insurers operating in the London Market can now easily manage billing and accounting across their bureau and non-bureau businesses.
  • Faster deployment of digital experiences. Self-service production deployments for EnterpriseEngage applications allow insurers to easily publish digital experiences, enabling policyholders to view and change account information and agents to provide detailed billing information.
  • Seamless billing data migration from legacy systems. Transforming your billing experience is smoother than ever thanks to a new migration tool that ensures a seamless transmission of on-premises billing data to the cloud.
