Guidewire Cloud: Maximizing Customer Value with Hybrid Tenancy
Two years ago, Guidewire started delivering its platform as a cloud service — Guidewire Cloud — that quickly became one of the most significant vertical industry cloud offerings in the marketplace. Guidewire Cloud is a purpose-built software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution based on Amazon Web Services (AWS) that is highly optimized for use with Guidewire InsuranceSuite core applications. It includes collections of cloud-native services, configuration tools, common data models, embedded analytics, and open APIs to support the integration and customization requirements of the world’s largest P&C insurers.
Guidewire Cloud: Maximizing Customer Value with Hybrid Tenancy
My love of skiing has officially become part of Guidewire’s culture. What started as a fun way to name our cloud releases is now meaningful for customers and Guidewire alike.
I’m excited that the ski season is about to start where my family and I live in Northern California. I’m even more excited we’ve arrived at Banff, the second release in Guidewire’s bi-annual release cadence! In June we released Aspen, the most important release in Guidewire’s history, where we introduced Guidewire Cloud Platform and reimagined core platforms.
Since I joined Guidewire in 2018, the Products and Engineering team has focused on pivoting Guidewire to think and execute cloud-first. As a result, the first Aspen release is an enormous milestone for our customers and the P&C industry—as well as for Guidewire—in terms of both execution and product innovation.
