Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE: GWRE), a provider of flexible core system software to general (Property/Casualty) insurers, today announced that Aviva, the largest general insurer in the UK, has selected Guidewire PolicyCenter® as its new underwriting and policy administration solution and Guidewire ClaimCenter® as its new claims management system for its core UK Commercial Lines business. Aviva UK will also be leveraging PolicyCenter for rating and reinsurance management.
Aviva sought to replace its existing claims and policy systems with one cohesive platform that would help streamline its underwriting, policy administration, and claims management operations for its UK general insurance operations. Aviva was looking to increase its business agility and bring new products to market more quickly to help it meet its IT and business goals.
