Our People: Powering the Future of Insurance
Our employees’ skills and experiences ensure we remain innovative and responsive as the P&C industry rapidly evolves. Our talent strategy focuses on attracting and cultivating a highly skilled, agile, and knowledgeable workforce that reflects the markets we serve.

Building Our Talent Pipeline
Our early and experienced talent programs and partnerships are designed to attract and develop an agile and inclusive workforce that represents the markets we serve.
We aim to bring in strong early career talent by sourcing from a variety of channels and creating a robust pipeline through our early-career program. The former includes inclusive hiring platforms, while the latter includes campus recruitment for internships and co-ops for college and graduate students. Hiring early career talent remains a priority as we work to create a strong pipeline of mid-to-senior level employees over the next decade.
We also aim to source experienced talent through similarly varied channels. One initiative, piloted in fiscal year 2023 in Ireland, is our Women ReBOOT program. Women ReBOOT supports experienced professionals returning to the workforce after career breaks. The program’s success in sourcing and developing experienced talent spurred us to expand the initiative to India in fiscal year 2025. As a result, in fiscal year 2025, thirteen women joined our Ireland program and three women joined our India program. We also continued our partnership with the Irish nonprofit, AHEAD, which supports individuals with disabilities in the workforce.
Investing in Our Talent
We recognize that investing in talent is important for sustaining our success and driving innovation. Our Early Career Program, “Guidewire Basecamp” provides support to recent graduates and interns working at Guidewire and continues to expand.
Our Employee Resource Group (ERG) network is also growing. Recently, we launched SAGEguide, an ERG that supports seasoned professionals and facilitates knowledge sharing across our four generations of employees. As part of the spirit of inclusion, our ERGs and their programming are open to all employees.
Global Reach, Local Impact
To best serve our customers through strong regional hubs, we continue to strategically expand our employee presence in places like Malaysia, India, Brazil, Japan and Mexico. These local teams possess key technical skills and global market knowledge enabling us to provide continuous support to our customers anytime, anywhere through a follow-the-sun model.
Cultivating an Engaged Workforce
Employee experience is central to our operations. Our periodic “Listening Campaign” surveys allow us to gather feedback and implement real-time improvements. In response to employee survey feedback, we streamlined communications through technology, leveraging our intranet and conducting executive Town Hall sessions. We also continued to promote internal career paths, with 18.5% of our open positions being filled by internal candidates in our most recent fiscal year.
Additionally, we recently introduced an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (“ESPP”) as part of our benefits program. The ESPP will allow our employees to directly participate in Guidewire’s financial success and foster a sense of collective ownership.
Deepening Industry and AI Knowledge
We are investing in broad-based initiatives with the goals of strengthening our employees’ industry expertise and enhancing collaboration to drive better outcomes for our customers.
We launched Guidewire Insurance University in fiscal year 2025 to deepen our employees’ knowledge of the P&C industry. This program provides our employees with targeted information through live broadcasts, online content, and expert discussions using customer challenges and Guidewire solutions. To promote engagement, we introduced a points-based leaderboard with monthly challenges and prizes. Over fiscal year 2025, 1,988 employees completed learning segments in this new program. We aim to build upon the participation in the program by creating additional resources and initiatives to further engage employees.
Our Education Services PROGRAM - available to employees, customers, and partners - also facilitates diverse growth opportunities and development through global virtual and instructor-led initiatives. We are also providing on-demand AI learning, tied to our business strategy, to ensure that our employees are embracing AI as the future of work automation and enablement.
Looking Forward
Guidewire is investing in building an agile, global workforce, expanding opportunities, and broadening our access to talent through initiatives like Guidewire Basecamp and the Women ReBOOT program.
We intend to continue to deepen our employees’ industry expertise through initiatives like Guidewire Insurance University. Similarly, we will continue to link AI learning opportunities with our business strategy. Listening to our employees, being responsive to feedback, and providing opportunities for employees to connect through our ERGs and other initiatives, will also remain a priority.
