United Automobile Insurance Company (UAIC), one of the largest privately held property and casualty insurers in the U.S., has successfully deployed Guidewire ClaimCenter® as its new end-to-end claims management system.

UAIC deployed ClaimCenter in February 2009, to 12 markets, across two lines of business, and did so within a one year time frame. The IT department was able to commit to aggressive deadlines and deliver the functionalities and integrations needed by the business, enabling it to be more productive, efficient, and deliver greater value to company operations. The full implementation, which consolidated or replaced multiple claims handling systems, also included data conversion for all markets which proved to be a huge benefit as users dealt with just one system during the legacy migration to ClaimCenter.

With ClaimCenter, we gained a much more proficient, flexible and usable system improving claims handling. Claims data is now collected in a more normalized manner; improved reporting capability and best practice enforcement (as needed) using business rules and automated workflows, has resulted in better decision-making.
